Terms & Conditions

PURCHASE ORDERS:
Purchase orders may be phoned in, faxed, mailed, or e-mailed. The following information must be provided in order to process each order quickly and correctly: Customer name and number, bill-to address, ship-to address, item number, item description, color, quantity, order date, in-hands date, and purchase order number. If any special arrangements need to be made, please note it clearly on the purchase order.

DROP SHIPMENTS:
Drop shipment orders are gladly accepted. However, there is a small charge for each drop shipment order.

SHIPPING:
All orders are shipped via UPS ground service. We do offer UPS Next Day, 2 nd Day, and 3 rd Day deliveries. An account number must be provided for Fed-Ex shipments.

EXPECTED TIME TO SHIP:
Purchase orders received by 2 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) will be shipped within 2 business days for in-stock items.

Backorders will be shipped as soon as the item(s) are available, unless otherwise notified.

Out of stock items must be reordered at a later date. Discontinued items will no longer be available.

SPECIAL ORDERS:
We can custom make any item in leather. If we don't have it, we'll make it! Please call for details.

PERSONALIZATION:
Piel offers a variety of ways to personalize any Piel Leather product. We are able to emboss, deboss, and embroider most of our quality leather goods. Initials up to three letters are also available. Please contact our office for further information.

CANCELLATIONS:
Purchase orders are processed as soon as they are received. If a cancellation is necessary, please notify our main office immediately. Cancellation fees may be applied.

RETURN POLICY:
A Return Authorization number must be requested for any return, repair, or replacement. When an item is returned without this authorization number, credit, repair, or replacement cannot be guaranteed and is subject to a 15% restocking fee. Piel, Inc. will not be responsible for any returns made without prior authorization, regardless of proof of delivery. Credits, repairs, and replacements may take up to 45 days to process. Any shipment that is refused is subject to a 15% restocking fee. Any item that is returned 30 days after date of sale is subject to a 15% restocking fee. Piel, Inc. does offer a Three-Year guarantee on all our regular products and will repair or replace any defective item at our discretion. Please note shipping & handling charges will not be credited if there is no factory defect. Piel, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any replacement or credit due to mishandled merchandise, accidental damages, or if it shows wear and tear through normal usage.
